He's Finally Back

I'm going to say this now, so pay attention. If you aren't looking forward to this, and dislike classic Zelda in general, keep your comments to yourself. Do not use my art as a way to voice your hate or I'll block you so fast it will make your head spin.

You all know how much I love classic Link, so you can imagine my delight that they announced a sequel to A Link to the Past this morning, complete with a trailer that shows off the lovely 3D model of SNES Link.

I tried to draw him based on how he looked in said Trailer... Pretty much exactly as I remember but with more Toon Like in proportions. I'm okay with that, as it represents the squashed down sprites of the SNES. I bet the official artwork will look more correctly proportioned. He also seems to be wearing a bracelet in the trailer...

If this is the same Link, it will mean I will stop drawing SNES Link with Pink hair...
It also marks his 4th quest.

I have reservations about this game... mainly that they are actually re-using the SNES overworld... though since we only got a glimpse of it, it's equally possible that they'll pull a pokemon gold/silver on us and have the overworld revamped in some way, and add a whole new world to explore...

Considering this is a sequel to ALTTP, and the Dark World is no more, I would be surprised if there wasn't some secondary land to explore.

Also there appears to be a stamina meter in this game, which gets depleted even if you do something as simple as fire the bow and arrow or use the hammer.

And I notice the Buzz Blobs aren't electrocuting Link when he strikes with the sword...

These things aside I am absolutely shivering in anticipation.
I've wanted a return to classic Zelda's art style and gameplay style for so long now~
