After repeatedly promising myself I'd draw, I finally drew.
I wanted to make my very own Daikaiju...
So as I started drawing it's basic body shape, I gave it an elongated neck, and I thought about an old character I had scrapped.
She was an anthropomorphic Brontosaurus named Heras, dressed in tanned leather and feathers, with some tribal painting... I decided it would be a cool way to recycle the character, by making her a Daikaiju.
Her hair was inspired by Gehara... still not nearly as wild as Gehara, but it still doesn't look like this kaiju is brushing it's hair or anything like that.
I made the feathers she used to wear an actual part of her body, made her significantly less adorable and more scary, exchanged her tribal tattoos for random spots, and a few cuts... Oh and she's several times her old size. She's barely recognizable compared to her older incarnation. Name was changed to be more like something you'd hear a Daikaiju.
Im a little upset because her body, and pose, looks so much like Godzilla... the neck is longer, the tail is shorter, but the body shapes are so similar... I really wanted a brontosaurus type monster though... To make matters worse, her stomping grounds would be... yeah... "Monster Island"... I swear, I did not name that place after Godzilla and the other Daikaiju's glorified holding pen.
I guess this means Lydia isn't my biggest OC anymore.
I just need to find out how to use her in my story... I have several ideas, and they're all Witchy's fault... unless I decide to save her for another story. Something that happens later.
