Description

Another quickie I did on Inchworm. I think I may do a bunch of these little, simple character portraits through inchworm. I need to make a few more references anyway. If there's anyone you think I should do next, let me know.

Mute seems to be one of the fan favorites... even though he doesn't speak. His only communication is the blood writing he does on walls and stuff... and he usually prefers body language. Maybe he gets so many fans because I draw him getting gay for Shino so often, eheh.

There is something about him that often gets overlooked, even by me, it's the tiny itty bitty hint of purple around his eyes. I forget it a lot. another thing that seems to get overlooked is his big pointy hair up on top of his head... I never forget that, but sometimes when people draw him for me, they do. It's an important part of him.. it's a nod to how cartoon ghosts in my country have little points on their head as if they are covered by a sheet. ...which is another thing... he really is wearing a sheet. It's connected to him, but were it lifted up, you'd see a torso under there which goes down to his upper legs, and slowly becomes more transparent. ...and then there are the blue fireballs... I always forget them. They don't feel essential to his design.

He's one of the handfuls of characters that were around since the prototype days of my story, when it was just a few terrible levels in Little Big Planet.

He's also probably the one who changed the most. His first design was very fat, and had a Majiin Buu antenna. His second form was similar to how it is now, but his hair was white instead of bluish, and I wasn't sure if he was a boy or a girl yet. He had far more feminine eyes.
